Boisdale House is a grade B listed building, with its origins dating back to the early 18th century. It is situated in one of the most delightful glens of South Uist standing next to the southern shore of Loch Boisdale and commanding stunning views to the hills in the north and the rugged east coast. Formerly the post office and general stores for the south end of the island, in the days when all supplies came in by sea, the house has been in the family since 1972. Recently renovated into a large and comfortable home, it also retains great Hebridean charm. A magical place to spend a holiday with family and friends or to enjoy a sporting break.
